銷魂麻辣粗麵的香氣，來自花椒與辣椒的搭配。花椒帶來舌尖的「麻」，辣椒鋪陳後段的「辣」，先麻後辣、層次分明。佐以八角等辛香料熬製的銷魂辣油，香氣飽滿而不死辣。
約 600 毫升清水煮滾，放入麵體煮約 6～7 分鐘至散開。粗麵較厚、較有咬勁，需要較長時間煮透，可依喜好微調。
撈起瀝乾，盡量瀝去多餘水分，避免稀釋醬汁，讓麻辣醬更能掛附在麵體上。
依序倒入醬油包、醋包與銷魂辣油包拌勻。銷魂辣油包用量自行斟酌，不加即為零辣。
